This recipe is very loosely based off of Mama’s Basil
Sauce. It makes enough sauce for 2 medium (12in.) pizzas.
Ingredients
| 1 | 400g Can | Crushed Tomatos w/o salt |
| 1-2 | tsp | Salt |
| 1 | Tbs | Olive Oil |
| 3 | Tbs | Oregano |
| 10 | Leaves | Fresh Basil |
| 6 | Cloves | Garlic finely chopped |
| 1 | tsp | Crushed Fennel |
Steps
Mix all of the ingredients in sauce pan.
Heat till hot.
Let cool to just a little warm before spreading it on the pizza otherwise, you will kill the dough and it won’t rise!
